What you are applying for.
- J20-C or X5 Revolver with permit for self-defense.
- A shoddy van
- Some basic medicine and medical tools to fill a first-aid room.
Your character's backstory.
Name: Richard Holliman
DOB: -/-/1998 ~ 44 years old
Ethnicity: Caucasian

A San Bernardino, CA native, Richard was born in a family of a sheriff's deputy and a housewife. Being the only child, his childhood was relatively peaceful and care free. Not much to say about his school performance, only that he was somewhat athletic and didn't have any specific issues with his studies.

After graduating, his father urged him to join the US military. He'd see the world, learn some skills, he said. And... well, get his hands on the GI Bill. The family didn't really have the money for college education. Richard picked the branch at random, Air Force, and went to the recruiter to get tested. Out of all specialties that he scored enough points for, he decided on Pararescueman. It seemed rather cool at the time, being special forces, and still relatively safer than field specialties of other branches, as the job involved deploying only when allies were hurt. Barely managing to graduate two years later, 2018, Richard was deployed to Syria. It didn't last and in 2020 he lost his left leg during an operation related to the great scare.

Crippled, unable to continue his service, he was separated from the AF and sent home in a wheelchair, one of many veterans damaged by the event. Once home, he started binging on alcohol in attempt to both forget the events of that terrible night and his current predicament, but soon enough his family had enough. Quit drinking and do something with your life, or you're on your own, he was told. And so he did. Richard cleaned up, cashed in his GI Bill and enrolled into a medschool, intent on spending the rest of his life as a family physician, sitting in some office and earning a fair pay for mostly mental work.

That didn't work out as planned either. His medical background and lack of any other meaningful hobby permitted him to fight through pre-med, the medschool itself. But by the time his residency was supposed to begin, California really started falling apart. He returned home and began to involve himself into the matters of community, at first managing to get into residency at the local hospital. Same year, his luck finally turned around as the VA decided to grant now thirty year old Richard one of the newer cyber leg prosthetic. A grafting surgery and a recovery period later, he once again could walk unassisted.

But as the state kept heating up, soon the hospital closed down and various unsavory groups from LA started raiding surrounding areas. In response, the town quickly bunched up, barricaded itself and started organizing self-defense squads to protect themselves and their families from violence. Richard, one of the only few who didn't run off, spent the next few years treating locals as they all struggled to stay alive and not starve. Soon enough, the community crumbled. Infighting, lack of supplies and constant attacks by the outsiders put an end to peace and stability. While a good chunk of San Bernardino community themselves became raiders, many fled from the state, including Richard.

Barely crossing the northern border alive, he managed to get himself into Vancouver and settled into one of the poorer districts of the mega-city, where he started a two-room sized business of providing medical care to the locals.

Compared to the corps, his prices are more manageable, although the equipment and med selection is of course lacking. Despite that, he tries to be beneficial to the community and hopes that at least his twilight years will be spent in peace.

Accepted.

Backstory enjoyably builds on the server's established lore. A half-bootleg clinic will be interesting on the server. Perhaps Richard will run into another physician on the server, Hassan Qadir?

You'll probably get the J20-C due to the fact it works more then the X5. Occasionally, Cyberpunk Weapon sweps show up as fist animations.
