Russian Organized Crime is relatively new to the shores of the United States of America. Since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, flocks of Russians fled to the United States to start fresh, to garner the American Dream. Along with the typical hard working Russian populace a criminal element traveled to America with it to set its own roots. With the majority of the Russian immigrants settling on the East coast of the United States, only a small handful would make the journey to the west to spread the seeds of its Indo-European language and culture. They bring with them their culture, their cuisine, their clothing, and their religious customs. Something more sinister also comes in tow with these gifts. Their criminal traditions. Within the area, Slavic Immigrant neighborhoods start forming up. The areas have a long history of street gangs and upstart criminal organizations. Due to the high mortality rate, the culture clash, and the viciousness of the majority of Eurasian gangsters; these enterprises have been rather short lived as compared to groups in other parts of the country. Decades have gone by since the fall of the Iron Curtain, a horde of immigrants flooding the United States from behind it. Still, the streets are in as much disarray as all those years ago.

With reported connections to Russian and Balkan States alike federal investigations are intact but seem not to be a easy as presumed. As a result of the investigation numerous confidential informants have gone missing and are presumed dead. With the lack of arrest, informants and snitches are more reluctant to side with law enforcement. With their connections in Russia and other once Eastern Bloc countries, their access to crime can be unhindered.
